DevOps Engineer, Configuration

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer, Configuration to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, versioning, and maintaining configuration for software that needs to be deployed across different environments. You will leverage automated deployment tools in a C2S environment and develop solutions for full stack deployment. This position is ideal for passionate individuals focused on building enterprise mission applications. You will own the deployment processes for multiple deployed sites, understanding and recording the specifics of differing software builds, and supporting the configuration management of Infrastructure as Code for the underlying Kubernetes-based hardware stack that hosts mission applications. The role requires collaboration across multiple functional areas of the full development life cycle and expects you to gain experience in requirements, architecture, development, integration, test, platform, and infrastructure domains.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years experience with Artifactory, GitLab/GitHub, and JIRA (releases, issues, reports, asset management)
- Helm knowledge for Kubernetes configuration management and chart deployment
- Branching strategies, software release versioning, and deployment automation experience
- DevSecOps background with full life cycle Agile development experience
- Automated deployment tools experience in secure cloud environments
- Infrastructure as Code and configuration management expertise
- Kubernetes-based infrastructure and multi-site deployment process ownership
Highly preferred:
- SonarQube and Xray testing tool experience
- AWS/cloud platforms and C2S environment experience
- Kubernetes monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging (Fluentbit, Kibana, Loki) tools
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- CI/CD pipeline configuration and container orchestration knowledge
- Passion for enterprise mission-critical applications
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Work Type:
- Onsite in Dulles, VA
- May require up to 15% travel
Salary Range:
- $120,000 - $140,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
