What this role is about:
Are you passionate about bridging the gap between product innovation and the needs of public safety professionals? RapidSOS is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to define and execute marketing strategies that empower public safety professionals with transformative technology. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product, sales, and public safety to create impactful messaging, drive go-to-market initiatives, and ensure our solutions resonate with the needs of the public safety community.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of our products and users, create compelling content for our field teams, and foster cross-functional alignment to ensure our messaging is both clear and impactful. What you’ll do: 

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for public safety-focused products.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that resonate with public safety professionals, emphasizing product value and differentiation.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to understand product functionality and simplify complex concepts for the field.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align product messaging and field enablement efforts.
  • Act as the voice of public safety within RapidSOS, advocating for customer needs in product and marketing discussions.
  • Build strong partnerships across teams to drive alignment on priorities and goals.

Field Enablement

  • Create and deliver training materials, sales enablement collateral, and messaging frameworks to empower Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Support field teams with impactful storytelling, ensuring they are equipped to communicate the value of RapidSOS solutions to public safety audiences.

Insights & Feedback Loops

  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback from the field, customers, and public safety stakeholders to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Continuously refine product messaging and positioning based on data insights and real-world feedback.

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing or product roles, including a minimum of 2 years with responsibilities in product marketing, paired with a strong background in the public safety sector.
  • Bias for Action: Proactive self-starter who can push through ambiguity and drive momentum toward important goals.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable analyzing quantitative and qualitative signals to understand performance and make informed adjustments.
  • Collaboration: Skilled at rallying cross-functional teams toward shared goals and fostering alignment.
  • Technical Understanding: Capable of engaging in technical discussions with Product and Engineering teams and simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness for occasional travel (<10%)

Nice-to-have experience (but not required!):

  • Experience with internal training programs for Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options. #LI-Remote
