RAPP New York is looking for an Associate Director, Experience Strategy to join our award-winning Experience Strategy team.

YOUR ROLE:

We’re looking for a strategically minded individual with a proven record of building high performing customer experiences and CRM journeys for world-class brands. You will lead with excellence in the day-to-day strategic delivery alongside a team of strategists.

Your industry and CRM background will equip you to create a high standard for deliverables. Your strategic prowess will uncover opportunities to design a path forward and deliver impactful work with results.  Your ability to create innovative communications plans will spark new ideas and thoughtfully connect with the end-customer.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the development of strategic initiatives and deliverables for clients.
  • Create communication strategies/CRM strategies to identify, capture, and nurture customers across the entire decision-making process.
  • Work collaboratively in an interagency team model to build customer experience programs that leverage a multitude of channels, such as web, email, mobile, and media.
  • Develop content strategies that can personalize at scale to engage different types of customers and compel them to act.
  • Distill primary and secondary research into customer beliefs, attitudes, and barriers to build compelling personas and actionable user journeys.
  • Unearth novel insights that fuel strategic plans and briefs.
  • Guide team of more junior strategist roles with your knowledge and expertise.
  • Lead the creative briefing process and partner with Creative team to inspire great work.
  • Identify the need to initiate current state analyses including but not limited to market analyses and competitive analyses.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Sciences team to develop learning agendas, leverage data and data architecture and explore opportunities for data capture optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with other vendors and agency partners to ensure strategic consistency across program elements.
  • Present strategic recommendations to clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic planning at an agency, CRM/CXM and/or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and prior experience in developing a strategic plan for a campaign.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with various deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and development of PowerPoint or Keynote presentations.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strict attention to detail.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
