YOUR ROLE:

As the Associate Account Director for Lead Processing, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for supporting the management of platform capabilities and features geared towards lead capture and lead processing activities for the US Army. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical development teams to ensure the system meets operational needs, enhances recruiter effectiveness, and aligns with organizational goals. You will collaborate with clients, as well as external and internal stakeholders to understand business needs. You will partner with other functional teams to develop and manage processes for data collection, data processing, marketing campaign attribution, and other business needs as necessary. You will serve as the SME on recruiting processes, user workflows, operational requirements, and best practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expert guidance on end‑to‑end workflows, including lead management, applicant tracking, pipeline management, communications, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate current data processes, data models, and system architecture to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements, while ensuring operational alignment.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and analysts to translate business needs into system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
  • Partner with a high‑performing team of system experts and operational specialists to build, refine, and optimize tools, systems, and processes.
  • Support change management efforts and communication rollouts for new capabilities.
  • Conduct reviews of requirements, sprint planning, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Validate workflows, business rules, and data integrity standards.
  • Provide SME support for documentation to include SOPs, process diagrams, training materials, and system reference guides.
  • Serve as SME on data collection, processing, policies, compliance, and operations.
  • Lead and orchestrate meetings, ensuring clear decisions, alignment, and forward momentum.
  • Manage client expectations, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with client, strategy, and functional partners to understand business goals and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Serve as liaison across internal and external stakeholders to drive integration and unified execution.
  • Guide the development of project briefs in collaboration with strategic planners and analysts.
  • Work closely with strategy and marketing sciences to produce rigorous, insight‑driven reporting.
  • Oversee the efficient management of lead data throughout the recruiting funnel to ensure accurate tracking and measurement of marketing performance.
  • Monitor data processing, forecast potential challenges, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Act as a central knowledge hub for the U.S. Army’s marketing operations, systems, and cross‑functional processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in data or marketing related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of data management or technology experience.
  • Experience working with the Salesforce suite of products a huge plus.
  • Demonstrated client experience and ability to navigate a complex client.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to demonstrate flexibility and creative problem solving.
  • Skilled in presenting information, both orally and in writing, with excellent interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
  • Positive attitude and sound work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple demands and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working with senior client stakeholders and diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of US Army systems, especially AIE, and leads management processes a huge plus.
  • Experience with tools and training for US Army systems and processes a plus.
  • Understanding of the Army marketing organization and client partners a plus.
  • Understanding and appreciation for data accuracy and governance processes.
  • Understanding systems and tools for lead handling and management.
  • Understanding process flows and system diagrams.
  • Proven ability in collaborating with peers on a multi-disciplinary team and delivering reliable processes and systems for capturing and managing leads data.
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively with a geographically dispersed team.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
