Product Manager II
Razorpay is one of India’s leading full-stack financial technology companies, powering the way businesses move, manage, and grow money. Founded in 2014 by Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar with a simple vision - to simplify payments for Indian businesses - we’ve since grown into a fintech powerhouse driving India’s digital payment revolution.
Razorpay powers millions of businesses with a smarter, scalable stack that goes beyond transactions to help them truly build and grow.
From building AI-native agentic payments, to AI-assisted fraud detection and real-time risk intelligence to automated reconciliation, smart payouts, and predictive financial insights, we are embedding intelligence across our stack to make money movement faster, safer, and more efficient. In close collaboration with ecosystem partners - including banks, networks, regulators - we are pioneering industry-first solutions that are shaping the next era of fintech
Across India, Singapore and Malaysia, our products span everything from seamless checkouts to payroll automation - powering a fintech ecosystem that’s redefining how money moves across Asia.
Today, that ecosystem supports everyone from early-stage startups to some of India’s largest enterprises, enabling them to accept, process, and disburse payments at scale while expanding into new ways of managing money more efficiently.
Our scale speaks volumes: Razorpay processes $180+ billion in annualized transactions, powering leading businesses like Airbnb, Facebook, WhatsApp, Airtel, CRED, BookmyShow, Zomato, Swiggy, Lenskart, Mirae Asset Capital markets, Indian Oil, National Pension Scheme - and over 100 of India’s unicorns. With strong roots in India and growing operations in Southeast Asia, we are shaping the next chapter of financial technology across the region.
We are backed by global investors including GIC, Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), Tiger Global, Ribbit Capital, Matrix Partners, MasterCard, and Salesforce Ventures, having raised over $740 million to date. Strategic acquisitions - including Ezetap (POS and offline payments), Curlec (Malaysia expansion), BillMe (digital invoicing), and POP (rewards-first UPI) - along with earlier moves in fraud prevention, payroll, and lending, have further strengthened our platform and widened our footprint across Asia.
But what truly sets Razorpay apart is our culture. At Razorpay, ownership is our oxygen - you own what you build, with no micromanagement or red tape, just the runway to make your ideas fly. Learning is a lifestyle - if you’re curious, you’ll feel at home here. People > Pedigree - we hire for attitude, hustle, and hunger more than degrees. Transparency thrives over titles - this is where interns question CXOs and CXOs say “thank you.” Guided by our values of Customer First, Autonomy & Ownership, Agility with Integrity, Transparency, Challenging the status quo and a strong belief that Razorpay grows with Razors, you’ll be part of a 3000+ strong team building not just products, but the financial infrastructure of the future.
We're building the future of how small businesses operate — payments, onboarding, websites, growth — all being reimagined with agentic AI. The SME Payments Group at Razorpay runs 15 product pods with full-stack ownership. We're not slapping AI on top of old products. We're rethinking what each product should be when an agent can do the heavy lifting. If you're a builder who thinks in systems, loves data, and wants to work at the frontier of AI-native fintech — read on.
The charter: Own the end-to-end onboarding infrastructure for SME merchants. Automate manual workflows through agents, rethink the authentication platform for an agentic world, and build a reliable, scalable onboarding stack.
What we need:
- Platform thinking — you care about systems, not just surfaces. What does a reliable onboarding stack look like? How do you handle KYC, auth, and risk in a world where agents initiate actions on behalf of merchants?
- Automation instinct — you look at every manual workflow and ask "why does a human do this?" Your north star is zero-touch onboarding for the happy path.
- Auth and identity depth — you think deeply about authentication, identity verification, and trust frameworks. How does auth change when the user isn't always a human on a browser?
- Infra-grade rigor — you understand uptime, reliability, and the cost of getting onboarding wrong. A broken onboarding flow = lost merchants at the top of the funnel.
What you'll do -
Build Customer Empathy: PMs have to regularly meet and understand customer needs first-hand as well as stay on top of the customer pulse via secondary insights - both qualitative and quantitative.
Devise Strategy: Define both long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
Conceptualize new solutions: Product Conceptualization with a problem first, data-driven, and test & iterate approach. Ensures conceptualization from a platform and a long-term view. Ensures value-based prioritization of product initiatives.
Build products: Collaborate with Engineering and ecosystem players to build products that customers love. Produce high-quality product specifications and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver products and features on time.
Launch products: Draft and execute a go-to-market plan in conjunction with Product Marketing. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus.
Ecosystem collaboration: Self-starter to collaborate closely with ecosystem players to co-build products that don’t exist
Mandatory Qualifications:
You are obsessed with users but grounded in business and data.
You have 6+ years of experience in product management with at least 2 years focused on growth or PLG initiatives.
You're hands-on, hungry, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
You have a strong command over product analytics and experimentation frameworks.
You understand technology deeply enough to work well with engineers, but your core superpower is thinking from a customer-first and business-first lens.
You think in systems, love solving root problems, and approach prioritization through impact and effort.
You’re structured in thinking, biased for action, and love taking ownership end-to-end.
