Executive Vice President, Omnichannel Strategy

Real Chemistry is seeking an Executive Vice President, Omnichannel Strategy to define, build, and lead the next generation of strategic excellence across RC Media.

As a key member of the RC Media leadership team, this individual will establish the vision, operating model, and long-term direction for Omnichannel Strategy, ensuring strategy is deeply integrated across media, analytics, activation, customer engagement, technology, and client experience. This leader will guide how strategy is delivered across the organization, helping teams translate complex business challenges into actionable, measurable customer engagement solutions.

The EVP will oversee a growing team of approximately 9 strategists and will play a critical role in shaping team structure, talent development, capability-building, and future hiring. This is an opportunity to inherit and evolve a diverse team while helping define what world-class strategic consulting looks like within a modern healthcare media organization.

Serving as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients and internal leaders, you will partner closely with Client Experience, Analytics, Media, Activation, Technology, Medical, Creative, and Growth leaders to design connected customer experiences that drive meaningful business outcomes. You will help shape the future of omnichannel engagement at Real Chemistry while contributing to agency innovation, growth, and market differentiation.

This is a hybrid role based in any of our U.S. offices, with a preference for candidates located in or near the New York metropolitan area. Exceptional candidates located elsewhere in the U.S. will also be considered, with an expectation of regular travel to collaborate with leadership teams and clients.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and evolve the Omnichannel Strategy function, setting the vision for how strategic planning is delivered across RC Media and defining what strategy means within an increasingly integrated organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with Client Experience, Planning, Media, Analytics, Activation, and Technology leaders to create seamless, collaborative ways of working and eliminate silos across functions.
  • Develop integrated omnichannel engagement strategies that connect business objectives, customer insights, media, technology, content, and measurement frameworks into cohesive customer experiences.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients, helping executive stakeholders navigate evolving market dynamics and engagement opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Analytics, Media, and Technology teams to transform data, insights, and customer intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Establish operational excellence for the Strategy function, including strategic frameworks, planning methodologies, service models, team processes, deliverables, governance structures, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Ensure strategy outputs are measurable and aligned to business outcomes through robust performance frameworks and success metrics.
  • Lead strategic planning support across key accounts while playing an active role in new business efforts, pitches, thought leadership, and agency growth initiatives.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a team of strategists, helping elevate capabilities while creating a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive innovation through the thoughtful application of AI, emerging technologies, and new customer engagement models.
  • Represent Real Chemistry externally through client presentations, industry events, publications, and market-facing thought leadership.

This Position Is a Perfect Fit for You If

  • You are a collaborative leader who excels at building alignment across teams and influencing stakeholders without relying on authority alone.
  • You understand that great strategy only creates value when it can be operationalized, activated, measured, and adopted by cross-functional teams.
  • You thrive in executive-level client environments and can confidently influence senior stakeholders.
  • You are energized by coaching and developing teams while helping individuals grow into their full potential.
  • You are comfortable navigating complex organizations and building productive relationships across media, analytics, technology, commercial, and client service teams.
  • You are naturally curious about the future of healthcare engagement and excited by the role technology, AI, data, and personalization will play in shaping customer experiences.
  • You embody Real Chemistry's values: Best Together, Impact Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always, and Accountability with an "I."

What You Should Have

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical advertising, media strategy, customer engagement, consulting, omnichannel strategy, commercial excellence, or related disciplines.
  • Significant leadership experience within a healthcare agency, consulting organization, pharmaceutical company, media organization, or customer engagement environment.
  • Proven success defining and implementing strategic vision, operating models, or transformation initiatives within complex organizations.
  • Deep expertise in omnichannel strategy, customer journey architecture, communications planning, audience strategy, media strategy, engagement planning, and healthcare commercialization.
  • Practical understanding of how omnichannel programs are operationalized through technology, activation, data, and executional teams, not solely at the planning level.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing strategy teams, including coaching leaders and building scalable organizational structures.
  • Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with analytics, technology, media, and activation teams to develop integrated customer engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and navigate ambiguity while building alignment across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong business development experience, including participation in pitches, organic growth initiatives, and strategic client expansion opportunities.
  • Demonstrated passion for innovation, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies.

Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities. We call this our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach. Real Chemistry believes we are best together – and our workplace strategy fosters connection and collaboration in person – but also supports flexibility for our people.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
