Who we are looking for
This role will report directly to the head of R&D in a small team of 4-5 people, and be fabricating, assembling, wiring, rigging, and troubleshooting machine builds. The role requires a wide variety of skillsets and the ability to work in multiple disciplines simultaneously. Must be mechanically minded, open to new and creative ideas, as well and versed in the practical knowledge of actually getting something built. This is a hands-on role that will spend the majority of time on the shop floor.
This small group of R&D engineering will be developing cutting edge automation and process equipment for both Oribi and ReBuild.
What you get to do
- Build, design, and drive automation machinery creation
- From computer screen to dirty hands, participate in all aspects of machinery build
- Reviewing use cases, planning of longevity, PM needs, and documentation for end user of machinery
- Design, weld, assembly, wire, program, test, modify all machinery
What you bring to the Team
Must Have:
- 2-4 years of Welding and Fabrication Experience
- Additional experience in Rigging, Assembly, and Wiring
Additional preferred skills:
- Engineering
- Solidworks Proficiency
- Waterjet cutting
- Machine design
- Machine assembly
- Industrial Robotics
- Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Salary Range: $78,000-$118,000
