Director, Data Curation
As the Director of Data Curation, you will manage a large Business Process Outsourcing team of 60+ individuals. In this critical role, you will ensure that our team consistently delivers high-quality, timely, and reliable data curation services that exceed customer expectations. You are the strategic partner to multiple engineering and service delivery teams across our company.
What you’ll do:
Group Leadership and Management:
- Guide BPO team managers to mentor and develop our team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance goals, metrics, and KPIs to track performance and align our BPO team with company objectives.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to team leaders.
- Make decisions on changes to team capacity and resource allocation, managing costs to budget.
Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks and recurring points of failure.
- Drive improvements to procedures to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide reports and recommendations to senior management on challenges and improvement initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Maintain strong, direct relationships with internal customers in engineering, onboarding, support, and customer success management (CSM.)
- Team with support and CSM to resolve process breakdowns and negative CSAT reports.
- Work with internal customers to define and meet service level objectives (SLOs).
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in technical operations management, with a proven track record of success in leading large teams.
- Strong understanding of SaaS technology and business processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Experience working with end customers across multiple departments.
