Web Developer Senior Associate

The Team:

Java Developers at Enfusion design, code, test, troubleshoot, maintain Java applications that power our trading platforms and tools. The team works collectively on various aspects of software development, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining Java-based applications. 

 

The Role:

As a member of our Software Engineering Group, the most important thing we look for in people is a passion for enthusiasm around solving business problems through innovation and through sound engineering practices. For this role, we are looking for someone with strong React JS, Typescript and React Native experience. If the candidate has a full stack experience it would be positive. We prefer candidates with interest in trading and financial services as we continue providing technology innovations and support to global investment management industry. In this role, you will be responsible for working on our WEB and Mobile platform for real time trading and portfolio management services. 

 

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle.
• Analyse and comprehend the requirements and at times to refer to the features in existing thick client applications to be implemented in WEB and Mobile.
• Developing medium-to-high complexity enterprise level UI in React and React Native with Typescript and HTML5.
• Develop or enhance REST APIs and business rules implementation consumed by Front End as needed.
• Follow Test Driven Development approach.
• Support Continuous improvement and carry out investigation to sole user queries and problems. Suggest and research alternate technologies as appropriate.
• Be a team member, collaborate within and outside of the team and mentor junior developers.

 

What You’ll Need:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), React JS (min v16.14), Node JS (min v18), React Native (min v0.7) and TypeScript (min v5.0.0) are preferred skills.
• Sound knowledge of best programming practices, OOPS concepts, functional programming concepts.
• Added advantage if experienced in Core Java (min JDK8), Spring /Spring Boot framework,  and Spring Data JPA and RDBMS.
• Good understanding of standard React best practices and design patterns.
• Good understanding of RESTFUL architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of version management using GIT and Bitbucket.
• Added advantage if experienced in Finance domain or product industry.
