Job Summary:

Staff Forward Deployed Engineers at Reltio are elite builders who operate with the autonomy of a technical founder and the rigor of a staff engineer. You will work in small teams, own high-stakes projects end-to-end, and embed directly with strategic customers, from initial discovery to production rollout, to transform Reltio's platform from a system of record into a system of intelligence. You'll write production code, design and ship agentic workflows, and bring field insights back to shape Reltio's product roadmap. If you thrive on undefined problems, move fast, and want your work to directly drive enterprise outcomes, this role was built for you.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

End-to-End Customer Delivery & Ownership

  • Own the full delivery cycle: discovery, technical scoping, agent design, implementation, rollout support, and enablement of customer and customer engineering team for long-term support.
  • Collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to translate real-world problems into concrete technical solutions.
  • Define success metrics tied to adoption, performance, and business outcomes, and measure against them.

Agent Architecture, Build, & Production

  • Design and implement robust agentic workflows using Reltio’s Agent Flow platform that integrate with core systems and event sources.
  • Orchestrate multi-stage behaviors (e.g., context-aware workflows, human-in-the-loop interactions).
  • Build production-grade components with comprehensive observability, graceful error handling, fallback strategies, cost governance, and security controls suitable for regulated industries.

Evaluation, Observability & Quality

  • Leverage automated evaluation frameworks and monitoring dashboards to measure agent accuracy, reliability, throughput, false positives/negatives, and business KPIs.
  • Implement observability, tracing, and logging to analyze decisions and tool invocations for debugging and governance.
  • Develop regression tests, evaluation datasets, and safety guardrails that reduce risk and improve system maturity.

Reusable Assets & Knowledge Sharing

  • Encode successful patterns into templates, connectors, reference implementations, and architecture blueprints for internal reuse.
  • Publish reusable “agent skills,” integrations (CRM, ERP, external data sources), and accelerators that reduce delivery time across customers.
  • Contribute to internal tooling, playbooks, and best-practice documentation and framework.

Strategic Field Feedback

  • Synthesize customer learnings, emerging field signals, and competitive intelligence into structured, prioritized feedback that directly shapes Reltio’s product roadmap and platform strategy.
  • Advocate for roadmap priorities that improve agent usability, integration breadth, and operational scalability.
  • Partner with Product to define and POC feature requirements, acceptance criteria, and success outcomes for agentic solutions and other products in the Agent Flow Suite.

Trusted Advisor & Domain Expertise

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise technical and business leaders on data strategy, automation opportunities, and governance.
  • Apply deep mastery of data semantics, entity resolution logic, workflow optimization, and decision-centric system design.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of MDM design patterns.
  • Demonstrates command of the Reltio platform and its overall capabilities.
  • Navigate complex enterprise constraints (security, compliance, access governance, multi-cloud architecture) while enabling pragmatic, scalable solutions.

Other Forward Deployed Engineering duties and Agent Flow adoption initiatives as assigned.

Skills You Must Have:

  •       6+ years building and shipping production technology in customer-facing roles (solutions engineering, consulting, applied engineering).
  •       Strong programming and system design skills in Python and/or TypeScript/Java, with experience building APIs, microservices & integrations.
  •       Demonstrated experience deploying and operationalizing LLM- or agentic systems (prompting, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails).
  •       Experience with telemetry/observability tooling, logging, and production monitoring frameworks.
  •       Familiarity with responsible AI practices, including agent guardrails, bias evaluation, and enterprise data governance (GDPR, HIPAA).
  •       Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containerization, and distributed services.
  •       Deep understanding of data management, enterprise integrations, workflow orchestration, business rules, and real-time processing.
  •       Experience with SaaS platforms, CRM/ERP integrations (Salesforce, Veeva, NetSuite, SAP), and data signals triggering automated actions.
  •       Excellent communication and co-creation skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  •       Demonstrated ability to drive consensus, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable outcomes under ambiguity and change.
  •       Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-change enterprise engagements with senior customer leadership.
  •       Ability to travel to customer sites periodically (estimated 20-30%), with flexibility based on engagement needs.

Skills That Are Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in enterprise AI adoption, agent/AI workflow productization, or implementation of generative AI solutions.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with business development support, governance frameworks, or industry compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
