What you bring
- Extensive experience working in the Payroll space is a plus
- Relevant work experience - product marketing, operational roles, or strategy consulting;
- Experience with social impact and/or strategic program development, execution, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level and to launch new and multiple products and/or programs successfully
- Strategy, data, and result-driven. You are eager to make a huge impact at Remote. You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and are able to operate fluidly between the big picture and the small task, while never losing sight of results.
- Ability to ramp from being familiar to being an expert in a matter of days.
- A team player. It's a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Growth, Operations, Product, Legal, and International Expansion, and needs to be able to nurture warm relationships across every functional team.
- Building and guiding a team with experience medium to large organizations globally distributed.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics and project management software packages
- Fluent in English both writing and speaking.
- Familiar with working on a remote or distributed team. It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Growth team to design, implement and develop new product lines, business revenue streams, and business verticals;
- Contribute to the strategy development and own its execution for the Payroll Operations team, by independently or managing multiple projects/programs or initiatives;
- Build and drive a network of trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders ;
- Develop and nuture a GTM process from germination to release.
- Interrogate the impact of Operations work and lead data analysis that helps to understand and maximize business and/or social impact, and inform insights and perspectives;
- Identify opportunities for turning our data and insights into compelling content and stories that help our key audiences engage with our work.
- Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Review financial information and advise on adjustments to operational budgets
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is from $108,500 to $ 122,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
