About This Role: 

The Integrated Marketing Director will lead the strategic vision, planning an execution of our content ecosystem across all earned and owned channels. This leader will transform brand priorities, product launches, partnerships, consumer insights and performance data into a cohesive content engine that scales the business.  

This role will be a key part of our strategy to become the most influential omni-channel strength brand in the world by serving as the connective hub across the marketing organization. They will do this by ensuring every consumer touchpoint (eComm, commercial, retail, partnerships, social, PR, activations etc) works together to tell a consistent and compelling REP brand experience. They will help shape not only what REP says, but also how the brand comes to life across channels, audiences and experiences. 

They will also be an expert with demonstrable experience in activating digital content ecosystems for global consumer brands.  This role will be directly responsible for building and leading our Social Media, Content, PR & Editorial teams to meet these objectives.   

Essential Functions: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Own the integrated global content strategy across all owned and earned channels ensuring alignment with annual business objectives and growth targets with both global & regional teams
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive brand narrative that connects REP's equipment, apparel, and nutrition businesses into a unified consumer experience.
  • Lead long-range content planning, including annual campaigns, seasonal moments, product launches, partnerships, athlete activations, and brand initiatives.
  • Build content strategies that support the entire customer journey—from awareness and consideration through conversion, retention, and advocacy.
  • Establish clear content pillars, editorial frameworks, and messaging architectures that create consistency across channels and teams.
  • Ensure all content reflects REP's brand positioning, voice, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, platform shifts, and consumer insights to keep REP relevant and differentiated.  

Content Development & Editorial Excellence: 

  • Oversee the development of a best-in-class content engine capable of producing high-quality, high-volume content across multiple channels and business units.
  • Lead the creation of educational, inspirational, and conversion-focused content that drives audience growth and customer acquisition.
  • Develop strategies that transform product innovation, training expertise, nutrition science, customer success stories, and athlete partnerships into compelling storytelling.
  • Create editorial frameworks that balance brand-building content with performance-driving content.
  • Drive consistency in messaging and storytelling across social, blog, PR, email, partnerships, video, influencer, and ecommerce experiences.
  • Establish content quality standards, approval processes, and governance frameworks that ensure excellence at scale. 

Team Leadership 

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across Social Media, Content, PR, Communications, and Editorial functions.
  • Establish clear priorities, goals, workflows, and performance expectations for the team.
  • Build organizational capabilities that enable REP to scale content production without sacrificing quality or consistency, leveraging AI where possible, but within brand standards 
  • Build and maintain integrated content calendars that align business priorities, product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and channel needs.
  • Evaluate team structure, agency relationships, freelance resources, and content investments to maximize output and efficiency 

 Strategic Integrator: 

  • As a key part of our ambition to become the most influential omni-channel brand in strength, you will be the key integrator and strategic hub for the cross-functional teams
  • Partner with creative to ensure consistency throughout upper funnel & storytelling down to lower funnel creative output
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to translate product innovation and key differentiators into compelling consumer-facing narratives  
  • Align with Digital Marketing teams to ensure content strategies support acquisition, retargeting, conversion, and retention goals across all channels & geos
  • Leverage our partnership team to engage with our athletes, influencers & affiliates to ensure consistency in storytelling & message across the funnel on key product & brand moments 
  • Serve as the central connective point between brand, creative, product, partnerships and performance marketing teams  

 Business Impact & Performance Accountability 

  • Define and track KPIs across awareness, engagement, community growth, content consumption, lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Partner with Analytics and Digital teams to understand content performance throughout the funnel.
  • Continuously evaluate content effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, efficiency, and business impact.
  • Establish reporting frameworks that provide leadership visibility into content performance and contribution to business goals. 

 

Travel: Minimal. Possible some travel to events for content coverage as well as athlete/partnership activations

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience with significant focus on content strategy, brand marketing, and integrated campaigns.
  • Experience scaling digitally focused content-driven consumer brands to $500M+ within nutrition, wellness, supplementation, CPG, health, or adjacent categories strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading multi-channel content programs that drive measurable business growth.
  • Deep understanding of content strategy, editorial planning, social media, influencer marketing, PR, communications, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing creative, content, and communications teams.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and how upper-funnel content influences lower-funnel performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using performance data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
