About the Role:

Resident is seeking an experienced Amazon Advertising Manager to help lead our Marketplace advertising efforts. This role will primarily focus on optimizing and scaling our Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns. You will be responsible for maximizing ROI and driving sales growth through strategic keyword targeting, bid management, and campaign structuring. Additionally, you will utilize Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) insights and audiences as secondary tools to enhance targeting precision and media efficiency across all Amazon advertising activities. Your expertise in Sponsored Ads will be foundational, with DSP and AMC supporting and amplifying your core search-focused strategies.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for Amazon Sponsored Search campaigns across US and international marketplaces.
  • Lead DSP execution across Amazon US and international marketplaces
  • Use AMC to define and activate high-value audiences across DSP and Sponsored Ads
  • Own AMC data ingestion and interpretation; Work with our data team on upload troubleshooting and connect insights to performance improvement across Amazon and DTC media
  • Build scalable campaign structures with Pacvue and similar tools using rules-based automation and platform AI
  • Partner with Marketplace and Data teams to translate AMC and ad data into actionable MTA, MMM, and reporting dashboards
  • Optimize ad creative and troubleshoot performance blockers with internal and Amazon support teams
  • Inform campaign strategy using competitor/category tools like Stackline, Helium 10, and Brand Insights
  • Contribute to roadmap for scaling media mix and audience expansion using AMC findings
  • Track weekly performance, adjust spend pacing, and report on ROI at path, audience, and tactic level

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Amazon advertising (DSP, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display)
  • 2+ years experience using AMC for audience insights, attribution modeling, and multi-touch path analysis
  • Experience using Pacvue or similar platform to automate campaign management
  • Skilled at managing and troubleshooting ad creative on Amazon
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action
  • Highly collaborative and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with furniture, mattress, or high-consideration purchase categories
  • Familiarity with Performance Plus, Brand Insights, and Amazon A9 algorithm
  • Experience using Stackline Atlas/Beacon, Helium 10, or similar tools for market intelligence
  • Knowledge of retail media platforms like Walmart or Target Roundel is a plus
