Product Manager, Data Products

United States

Resonate is a leading provider of high-quality, AI-powered consumer data, intelligence, and technology, empowering marketers to create a more personalized world that increases customer acquisition and lifetime value. Our SaaS platform, Ignite, and our Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings provide unparalleled insights into consumer motivations, values, and behaviors, enabling our clients to connect with their target audiences in more meaningful and effective ways. We are a dynamic and fast-growing company seeking passionate and innovative individuals to join our team!

Most product managers own a feature inside someone else's platform. Here, the data is the product, and you own it end to end - what gets built, how it's priced, and how it reaches the market.

At Resonate, we help enterprise brands understand not just who their customers are, but why they behave the way they do. This role owns a set of the Data-as-a-Service products that put that intelligence directly into customers' hands - enriching their own first-party data, or profiling a set of high-value prospects - and delivers it wherever they already work: file transfer, MarTech integrations, direct shares inside cloud data warehouses, clean rooms, real-time APIs, data marketplaces, and self-service trials. You'll set the vision and roadmap for those products, then work daily with an agile engineering team to make them faster, easier to use, and worth more to customers than they are today.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning a set of products within Resonate's Data-as-a-Service suite - the vision, the roadmap, and the case for where they go next - inside the direction set for the wider suite
  • Turning that vision into business cases, success metrics, requirements, and user stories, then running the backlog, refinement sessions, and every sprint ceremony in Jira alongside your engineering team
  • Working with data science and engineering to apply Resonate's AI and machine learning to the products you own, and weighing the tradeoffs each approach brings
  • Owning pricing, packaging, and distribution - partnering with commercial teams on how your products are positioned and priced, and growing their reach through data marketplaces, self-service trials, and partner and MarTech integrations
  • Partnering with Legal and Engineering to keep licensed data delivery inside Resonate's privacy obligations, including opt-out handling and the constraints that apply to regulated categories like financial services
  • Bringing products to market with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success - shaping positioning and messaging, getting the commercial teams ready to sell, and backing them up with feasibility reviews and real analysis when customers ask hard questions
  • Putting the tracking and reporting in place to see how a launch actually performed, then turning that into the next investment decision

What we're looking for

You'll need

  • 5+ years as a product manager or product owner in data products, martech, or adtech, including products you carried all the way from requirements through launch and adoption
  • Experience with data enrichment or appends against a customer's first-party records, and with large-scale data delivery through file transfer, data sharing, clean rooms, or APIs
  • Working knowledge of AI and ML workflows, technologies, and architectures - enough to hold the conversation with data science directly and weigh the tradeoffs yourself
  • Working knowledge of identity resolution and consumer data ecosystems and architectures
  • Familiarity with consumer data privacy as it applies to licensed data: state privacy law, opt-out handling, and the constraints that come with regulated categories
  • Fluency in agile product delivery - backlog management, refinement, sprint ceremonies, and Jira
  • The ability to write specs and vision documents that make the reasoning behind a problem clear, not just the requirements that follow from it
  • A record of building effective working relationships at every level, inside the company and outside it

Strong signals

  • Experience building or deploying products distributed through a data marketplace, or offered as a self-service trial
  • Experience owning pricing and packaging for data products
  • Audience building and activation into paid channels like programmatic, social, and connected TV, and the identifier ecosystems those channels run on
  • Hands-on work in AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or clean room environments
  • Experience in a regulated vertical, financial services especially
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks and MCP server-based data access

Who does well here

You're comfortable holding both halves of this job at once - a sprint refinement session in the morning, a pricing conversation in the afternoon, and no confusion about why both are yours. You're curious about what's actually in the data, and you'll sit with data science long enough to understand what a model can and can't do before you build a roadmap on top of it.

You write things down, and you explain the why rather than just the what. You're at ease working inside real constraints - privacy obligations, regulated categories, engineering capacity - because a hard problem with real stakes beats a blank page every time.

Why Resonate

  • The products you own are what customers actually buy - Resonate's consumer intelligence is the core of the business, not a side bet
  • Wider scope than most product roles: roadmap, engineering delivery, pricing, packaging, and distribution all sit with you
  • Direct work with data science on proprietary AI and machine learning models, not a thin layer over someone else's data
  • A company past the early-stage chaos, with serious enterprise customers, a clear direction, and enough scale to make the work meaningful
  • A remote-first environment with genuine flexibility and occasional travel for company and client events

If this sounds like the role you've been looking for, we'd love to talk.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
