Senior Total Rewards Analyst

As a Senior Total Rewards Analyst, you will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards and serve as a key contributor in shaping the organization’s total rewards strategy. This role will be instrumental in building and defining the company’s compensation philosophy in partnership with the Vice President, Total Rewards, while driving programs and analysis that ensure our compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.

 Location: #LI-Hybrid / Los Angeles, CA or Costa Mesa, CA 

Work Arrangement: This role follows a hybrid work model.

 About The Role

  • Compensation Administration and Analysis
    • Administer base salary programs and lead key annual compensation processes across the organization.
    • Evaluate and enhance compensation structures, including base pay, short-term incentives, and equity programs.
    • Support job management activities, including job descriptions, job evaluations, job architecture, and position maintenance.
    • Lead market benchmarking and compensation analyses to inform pay decisions and ensure alignment with market competitiveness and business needs.
    • Partner with department leaders and HR to evaluate roles, develop market-informed salary recommendations, and support employment offers.
    • Partner with Finance, HRIS, and People teams to maintain compensation data integrity and support related systems and reporting.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and wellness initiatives.
    • Ensure accurate enrollment processing, vendor coordination, compliance, and employee communications related to benefits.
    • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on benefit offerings, eligibility, and processes.
    • Manage benefits billing activities and support audit requirements, including the 401(k) audit process.
  • Total Rewards Program Support
    • Help shape the development and implementation of total rewards programs aligned with organizational goals, talent strategy, and the company’s evolving compensation philosophy.
    • Deliver analysis and actionable insights to guide leadership decision-making on compensation and benefits matters.
    • Develop and maintain analytics, dashboards, and reporting to identify trends, support planning, and inform recommendations.
    • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to inform program recommendations.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Maintain awareness of legal and regulatory requirements affecting compensation and benefits programs.
    • Prepare reports, analyses, and presentation materials for leadership and other stakeholders.
    • Support audits, documentation, and governance processes related to total rewards programs.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • CCP certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, employee benefits, and applicable labor and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

Compensation

Rexford Industrial’s total rewards program includes a competitive benefits package, bonus eligibility, and long-term equity opportunities. The expected annual salary range for this role is $85,000 to $115,000, with eligibility for a 15% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grants.* Actual base salary and total compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, specialized skills, education, certifications, and work location. Final compensation details will be provided in the offer letter.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date. Actual bonus and stock grants are discretionary based on company and/or individual performance determined by Rexford Industrial in its sole discretion, and the amount of any such bonus and/or stock grant may be less or more than the targets (and may be zero).
