Who We’re Looking For
RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst. The Information Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the organization's computer systems, networks, and data against security breaches, cyber threats, and unauthorized access. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Monitor security alerts and incidents, analyze data, and respond to security events. Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and investigate potential security incidents.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, network, databases, and web for potential system breaches/intrusions.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, investigate security incidents, assess the impact, and coordinate with relevant teams for containment and resolution.
- Maintain and configure security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Manage user access and permissions and review and audit user accounts to ensure adherence to security policies.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement and enforce security measures.
- Create and maintain security documentation, including risk assessments, security policies, and incident reports.
- Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to all users and new employees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT, security operations, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with security concepts such as access control, vulnerability management, endpoint security, or security monitoring.

Working knowledge of cloud-based environments and modern endpoint platforms, including servers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Solid understanding of corporate network and security fundamentals (e.g., identity and access management, firewalls, segmentation, least privilege).

Ability to review security alerts, logs, or reports and escalate findings appropriately.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document issues clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to remain methodical during high-priority or time-sensitive situations.

Curiosity and motivation to continuously learn cybersecurity principles, tools, and emerging threats.

Exposure to security tooling such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, or identity platforms is a plus.
