THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT

Transport and Supply Chain Management

  • Develop and implement transport and supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee and analyse key logistics metrics to drive process improvements and ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to align transportation strategies with broader supply chain goals.

Vendor and Carrier Coordination

  • Negotiate and establish long-term contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to drive cost efficiency and service reliability.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for vendors and carriers, ensuring performance is tracked, analyzed, and optimized.
  • Resolve logistics challenges, including supply chain disruptions, cross-border transport issues, and risk mitigation.
  • Implement strategic partnerships with logistics providers to enhance capacity planning and delivery reliability.

Documentation and Planning

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in documentation related to freight bills, manifests, and compliance records, optimizing document management processes.
  • Develop high-level reporting on transport performance, cost efficiency, and compliance to present to senior leadership.
  • Strategically plan and forecast inbound/outbound transport movements in alignment with business growth and demand trends.
  • Enhance operational workflows by implementing best practices in document handling, storage, and regulatory compliance.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience: 

  • 5+ year experience in transport logistics/freight forwarding 
  • Confident in using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, with strong attention to detail in data entry and reporting, together with knowledge of JIRA and Notion
  • Customs knowledge (export/import)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and being comfortable sharing ideas and working with others to find solutions
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Initiative and organization come naturally to you
  • Detail-oriented and enjoy keeping things accurate and well-structured
  • Solid decision-making skills as well as a calm and professional demeanor in all situations
  • Achieving productivity through efficient use of time and commitment to strong results

Language & Location: 

  • Fluent in both English and Polish
  • Based in Warsaw
