Communications Manager (all genders) in Paris (Maternity Cover)

We’re looking for a Regional Communications Manager for Dott for the West, East, and North regions to protect and enhance our reputation externally through PR, digital and partnership, and broader external communications in these key areas.
You will have the opportunity to drive a broad range of communication measures for a high-profile tech company and European market leader. You will report to the VP of Brand & Communications, central team, and collaborate very closely with the Public Policy and Business team in the regions you oversee. The position is located in Paris.
This is a maternity cover contract (7-8 months) position starting in June/July 2025.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT
- Develop and execute the external communications strategy in the West, East, and North regions
- Define key messaging relevant to these regions
- Maintain a calendar of external communications
- Work hand in hand with Central and Local teams
- Advise internal stakeholders up to top executives on communication measures
- Define and produce communication content and materials to support this strategy, including:
- Communications plans & talking points
- Press releases (press kits, statements)
- Social media posts
- Partnerships
- Offline materials (brochures, etc.)
- Answer inbound media inquiries from journalists across national and regional newspapers, magazines, TV, and radio
- Position Dott as a thought leader in the mobility industry with exciting and innovative stories
- Identify potential risks and opportunities and strengthen Dott’s reputation through appropriate communication measures
- Prepare briefings and accompany interviews, speaking opportunities, local launches, and events
- Manage and animate the social media calendar and content
- Manage CRM initiatives to ensure effective communication with users
- Develop and maintain partnerships that enhance Dott’s public image and engagement
- Take ownership of projects and implement them independently at your own discretion
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications—ideally in both Corporate and Consumer communications. Experience in mobility is a plus.
- Experience working in communications around policy and regulation
- English & French speaking. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (writing, speaking)
- Ability to think and execute in a fast-moving environment
- Strong knowledge of media landscape and PR network with established relationships
- Strategic thinking and solid project management skills
- A team-oriented attitude
- Hands-on approach with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
