The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Performance Analyst to join our Manila based team and supplement our global Data team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a global presence and significant growth potential.
As a Performance Analyst for the RIMES Global Performance team, you will use problem-solving skills and a background in mathematics to research complex issues associated with benchmark calculations across a wide array of financial asset types including fixed income, equity, ETFs and commodities.
What you will do:
- Create and Maintain benchmark/fund validation checks.
- Monitor data quality checks and, in cases of failures, investigate to determine the root cause and appropriate course of action. Your investigations will involve close collaboration with data suppliers as well as with various global departments within RIMES.
- Run qualification analyses on feeds from new data providers.
- Serve as an escalation point for the RIMES Global Support team on queries about calculation methodologies and data anomalies.
As a Performance Analyst, you will be playing a pivotal role in upholding Rimes’ commitment to data quality.
Who you are:
- Bachelor or Master, in Finance, Science, Engineering or Mathematics-related field.
- At least 1 year of previous work experience in the financial industry.
- Results-driven and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and efficient at multitasking across various assignments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize effectively.
- Interested in learning new technology and growing in an ever-changing environment
- Attentive to detail with a demonstrated ability to think creatively.
- A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Also useful:
- Knowledge of financial markets and financial data.
- Python/Perl experience.
- Knowledge of SQL.
