The Opportunity: 

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in Finance within a global financial technology company. As a Graduate Finance Officer, you will support the day-to-day running of the Finance team, gain practical experience across key finance processes, and build a strong understanding of how finance supports business decisions. 

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, supporting reporting, reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and month-end activity. This role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and keen to learn in a fast-moving environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support daily finance operations, including invoice processing, payment preparation, supplier records, and general finance administration. 
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and basic reporting tasks. 
  • Maintain accurate financial records by checking data, updating spreadsheets, and ensuring information is complete and correct. 
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice tracking, payment follow-up, and query resolution. 
  • Help prepare finance reports, schedules, and analysis for internal stakeholders. 
  • Work with colleagues across the business to gather information, resolve finance queries, and support process improvements. 
  • Follow internal controls, finance policies, and approval processes to help maintain accurate and compliant finance operations. 
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as requested. 

Requirements: 

  • Recent graduate, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. 
  • Good understanding of basic accounting and finance principles. 
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately with numbers and data. 
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with formulas, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage tasks to deadlines. 
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Curious, willing to learn, and open to feedback. 
  • Previous internship placement in finance or accounting roles, would be helpful but is not essential.
