Loading Dock Attendant 

Location: 77004
Pay Range: $15.50-16.50 per hour

Schedule: 

  • Tuesday - Saturday 8:10am - 5:30pm 

Employment Status: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking to hire an effective Loading Dock Attendant within a luxury High Rise Condominium setting. The Loading Dock Attendant is responsible for managing daily package operations and contractor access for the property. This role ensures all deliveries are properly logged, organized, and distributed efficiently, while also maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized loading dock area. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using basic technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and check-in all incoming packages and deliveries
  • Accurately log packages into the system
  • Organize and store packages by unit number for easy retrieval
  • Coordinate and manage package pick-ups with residents
  • Check-in and check-out all contractors, vendors, and service providers
  • Maintain accurate records of contractor activity on-site
  • Ensure loading dock operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and polished appearance at all times.
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
  • Performs other job-related duties as directed.

Additional Duties 

       · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading dock area

       · Assist with general property upkeep, including:

             o Light cleaning

             o Touch-up painting

             o Miscellaneous maintenance tasks as assigned

        · Support property operations team with daily tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications:
    • Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management systems

    •  

      Strong attention to detail and organization

    •  

       Good communication and customer service skills

    •  

      Ability to lift packages and remain active throughout the shift

    •  

      Dependable and able to work independently

    •  

      Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders, elevated areas, etc.)

  • Skills:  
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at once.
    • Must be friendly, and courteous, and enjoy working with a variety of people while maintaining a professional demeanor.
    • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Information Systems.
  • Other Requirements: 
    • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
    • Ability to work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
  • Preferred:

    · Prior experience in a similar role (loading dock, concierge, warehouse, or property operations)
