On-Site Maintenance Technician

Location: 3000 S Braeswood Blvd Houston, Texas 77025
Pay Range: $19-20/ hour
Employment Status: Full-Time

 

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and property upkeep tasks to ensure our client properties remain in excellent condition. This role requires regular interaction with staff and clients and involves handling mechanical systems, completing repairs, and maintaining overall property appearance and functionality. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Maintenance Tasks:
    • Perform interior and exterior maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, and texture work
    • Conduct power washing of exterior surfaces
    • Place dumpsters out on designated trash days
    • Complete general upkeep tasks such as debris removal and porter services
    • Perform daily property walks to identify maintenance needs
    • Manage and complete work orders, including follow-ups to ensure timely resolution
    • Carry out daily and weekly porter assignments

 

  • Building Inspections:
    • Inspect building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify issues
    • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance concerns in a timely manner
    • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 

 

    • Minimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in condominium or multifamily properties
    • Make-ready experience required, including flooring reset, drywall work (tape, float, texture), painting, and weather sealing doors and windows

 

  • Skills:

 

    • Strong general maintenance knowledge, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
    • Familiarity with building systems and safety procedures
    • Strong internal and external customer service skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English (English-speaking required)

 

  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Work involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting/moving objects up to 50 lbs
