On-Site Assistant Manager

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $67,000- $72,000 / year (based on experience) 

Position Overview

The Onsite Assistant Manager will support the day-to-day operations of assigned properties while assisting with administrative, operational, and resident service responsibilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to the needs of multiple communities. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working across different sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations Support:

  • Assist with daily onsite operations and property management tasks
  • Support communication with residents, vendors, and board members
  • Assist with work order coordination and follow-up
  • Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance or operational concerns
  • Support move-in/move-out processes and resident requests
  • Maintain organized property records, files, and reports
  • Assist with enforcing community rules and policies

Administrative Duties:

  • Answer phones, emails, and resident inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Assist with scheduling vendors and coordinating onsite activities
  • Support management with reporting, data entry, and general office tasks
  • Help ensure properties maintain a professional appearance and operational efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Previous property management, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in condominium or multifamily communities is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with basic computer systems and office software
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Other Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation required
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple sites
  • May support and split schedule between multiple properties
  • Available to work evenings or weekends on an as-needed basis
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required

  • Full-time position
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
