Strategic Content Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a skilled storyteller as our Content Marketing Manager to help us grow and evolve Rockbot’s content strategy. As our marketing team grows, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t just want to create content, you’ll craft compelling narratives that spark imaginations, communicate the best-of-the-best practices in our industry, and amplify our visionary leadership position in the market.

Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this role will have a wide-open playing field to design, create, and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy. You’ll be able to flex your B2B content creation skills to create a rock-solid, energizing, and pitch-perfect program for our core customer personas. 

You’ll develop a range of assets - emails, blogs, guides, customer stories, social content - that support existing marketing campaigns and initiatives as well as help us envision new possibilities. You’ll dig into emerging topics and data, surface content gaps, and craft stories that speak directly to our target audience and customer base.

You will:

  • Develop and implement a content marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and authority, generate leads, and encourage customer engagement and interaction.
  • Create high-quality, compelling content for various channels, such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Track and report on content performance metrics to improve results and influence strategy.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to produce authoritative and informative content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and design, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all content.
  • Optimize content for SEO and AI to improve how our site and content show up organically and drive traffic to the website.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content projects across all channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and the industry.

You have:

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience in a B2B technology company (B2B SaaS marketing, subscription-based models, and/or streaming media experience preferred)
  • You see story angles everywhere and carry a core belief that content helps to establish and reinforce relationships - with our target audience, long-standing customer base, influencers in the industry, and current (and future) Rockbot colleagues
  • You know just how to aim content at the audience you’re targeting, with a keen understanding of how the words you write impact the Rockbot business
  • You’re a content alchemist, seeing trends in data and movements in the market that you bring to life in sharp, energetic narratives
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling content - for you, that’s just scratching the surface. You have a firm grasp on what it takes to steer a strategy of multi-channel content (blog, social media, email, product updates, etc.) - and the insatiable curiosity to find the stories that fuel it all.

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $130,000 - $160,000  plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
