Rocket Travel by Agoda is looking for a Senior Partner Manager focused on the Americas region. The Partnerships team is responsible for rapidly growing our business in the region via new partnerships and organically growing current partnerships.

    • Total Compensation is based on experience - Salary: The starting point for this role is $100k base Bonus: up to 25%

As a Senior Partner Manager at Rocket Travel, you will: 

  • Take the lead in growing Rocket Travel's largest partnerships in the Americas region with careful day-to-day management, goal and strategy setting, data analysis, and a keen focus on relationships.
  • Establish goals for partners and set the strategy to hit those goals. Influence internal and external partners to take on new initiatives to accomplish big milestones.
  • Prepare partner presentation materials, including account reviews for existing partners, and new product collateral.
  • Manage the partner marketing calendar so the entire team is aware of partner marketing activities, including briefing customer service and other stakeholders on promotion or campaign details.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for partners to resolve issues with customers, partner platforms, etc.
  • Proactively benchmark competitive landscape on a regular basis to ensure that our products are well positioned and remain best-in-class; identify net new product features to evaluate/bring to the team for discussion.
  • Support finance with billing reconciliation to ensure correct billing from the partner.
  • Make recommendations for future campaigns and placements to optimize campaign performance, including promotional design and writing copy.
  • Collaborate with a team of marketers and designers to enhance the quality and performance of marketing and product efforts across Rocket Travel.
  • Participate in A/B testing using different approaches to driving conversion and repeat behavior that may differ from Rocket Travel core regions.
  • Manage your own deadlines across projects. There will be short turnarounds for some projects, and longer engagements for others. You know how to manage your time and balance both.
  • Be scrappy. We’re a small team and often wear many hats. Some projects may not be completely defined. This individual will take a resourceful approach to what’s needed and drive results.

 

About you:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • You have 7+ years of relevant experience in partnership marketing & business  development.
  • You are entrepreneurial and able to work independently/take ownership.
  • You understand how to summarize complex concepts and craft win-win strategies with partners.
  • You enjoy working with analytical people in data-driven businesses.
  • You have impeccable attention to detail, taking end to end ownership and quality control in all projects.
  • You have the ability to communicate with partners as needed with little to no oversight.
  • You put the customer front and center. Customers can be a traveler, a partner, or even a colleague. You ensure that work centers around solving their pain points.
  • You seek feedback. You have a growth mindset, are comfortable soliciting thoughts from others, and are curious to learn from a spectrum of perspectives.
  • You balance exploration with execution. Exploration and execution are both key to building innovative experiences. You understand when it’s time to explore and when it’s time to deliver.
  • You work well cross-functionally and are able to communicate effectively with others of varying backgrounds and areas of expertise.
