About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a strategic, hands-on Director of Data & Analytics to build and lead our data function from the ground up. As a key leader within our Business Technology (IT) team, you’ll shape the vision for how we use data to power smarter decisions, drive operational efficiency, and scale our impact.

This is a foundational role — you’ll architect and own our entire data stack, from infrastructure and governance to tooling and reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Product, Finance, GTM, and Customer to unlock high-value insights and enable automation at scale.

You’ll be joining ROLLER at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to make an outsized impact on how we operate, grow, and deliver for our customers around the world.

What You'll Do

  • Set the vision for data at ROLLER. Define and lead the enterprise data architecture and analytics strategy, reporting into IT leadership.
  • Build the foundation. Hire, grow, and lead a high-performing cross-functional data team spanning engineering, analytics, and BI.
  • Own our modern data stack. Select, implement, and maintain best-in-class tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Looker/Tableau, Airflow, and more.
  • Turn insight into action. Partner with teams across Finance, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering to design self-serve dashboards, define key metrics, and surface operational insights.
  • Scale our pipelines. Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows and data models that power real-time analytics and unified reporting across the business.
  • Champion data quality and governance. Implement policies and controls to ensure accuracy, access, compliance, and trust in our data (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Connect the dots across the business. Work closely with RevOps, GTM, and T&I teams to unify customer and product data streams and fuel smarter decision-making.
  • Enable advanced capabilities. Lay the groundwork for predictive analytics, experimentation frameworks (like A/B testing), and machine learning where they drive business value.
  • Build data culture. Lead initiatives to boost data literacy, foster adoption of best practices, and empower teams to make data-informed decisions.
  • Manage with intention. Own vendor relationships, budgets, and execution plans across all data platforms within the IT function.

About You
