Accounting Manager
About the role
The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and supporting the month-end close process. This role requires a strong communicator with excellent technical accounting skills, particularly in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, a CPA license, and a background in public accounting or a high-growth startup.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including AR and AP functions.
- Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support key financial reporting and prepare reconciliations as required.
- Handle ad hoc accounting requests and special projects.
- Assist in preparing for the annual audit and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and
recommendations as needed.
Qualifications
- CPA license required.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in public accounting or at a high-growth startup.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

California pay range
$110,000 - $130,000 USD
New York pay range
$110,000 - $130,000 USD
Washington pay range
$95,000 - $110,000 USD
Colorado pay range
$85,000 - $100,000 USD
Texas pay range
$85,000 - $100,000 USD
North Carolina pay range
$80,000 - $95,000 USD
