Director of Product
About the Role
As the Director of Product at our Series A veterinary tech marketplace startup, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy within our squad-based operating model. Leading a team of Product Managers, you'll drive initiatives that fuel growth and establish scalable processes for efficient expansion. Working closely with the SVP of Product, Growth & Design, you'll help define objectives for key product initiatives, measure their impact, and guide them through the full lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and sizing them to measuring outcomes and maintaining dashboards to track progress.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Product, Growth & Design, you'll manage a team of 4 Senior Product Managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our product strategy and company growth.
While the role will operate on a remote basis, you will be required to occasionally be onsite in our San Francisco co-working space for meetings and team events.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with the SVP of Product, Growth & Design to set and monitor objectives and core metrics for all product initiatives.

- Manage a team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-performance output.
- Refine our squad-based operating model, establishing scalable processes and frameworks that support our expanding product portfolio.
- Leverage deep understanding of marketplace metrics and ecosystem dynamics to drive product decisions that scale our platform.
- Use SQL expertise to drive data-informed product strategies, translating insights into a clear and effective execution direction for product teams.
- Partner with the Go To Market team to identify opportunities for and measure impact creation/improvement of “levers”.
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, and other departments to ensure efficient execution of our product strategy.
- Partner with the SVP Product, Growth & Design to investigate and size new opportunities.
