Job Summary
We are searching for a talented email marketer and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform expert to execute communications in our digital channels, specifically managing the planning and deployment schedules of our automated marketing journeys. This role reports to the Executive Digital Producer in charge of marketing automation programs. As an enthusiast of all things email and customer database platforms, you bring a solid background in campaign management and operations, collaborating seamlessly across teams and with the email production team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting day-to-day email operations and managing large-scale campaigns and projects. You’re obsessed with optimizing marketing technology platforms to personalize the digital experience across web and email to drive engagement. You like to roll up your sleeves to test, learn, and investigate the best use of SFMC and other platforms that are part of the martech stack. You’re passionate and curious about personalizing the customer experience and how their behaviors and interests impact the customer journey, improving engagement across all phases of the lifecycle from awareness, to engagement, through to retention.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of projects, ensuring efficient execution of project activities and alignment with milestones.
- Manage the holistic plan of email deployment timing and targets to ensure a balanced, distributed schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear project requirements and act as a liaison with the client email operations team.
- Develop SOW’s, project plans, timelines, and estimates, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Maintain proactive communication, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues for informed decision-making.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables that meet quality standards and adhere to client guidelines, brand standards, and industry regulations.
- Address challenges during campaign execution and monitor project financials, including budget and burn rates.
- Continuously improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in email marketing and marketing automation specifically utilizing Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Acute attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret and apply email performance metrics effectively.
- Hands-on knowledge of email marketing best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification for Administrator, Email Specialist and/or Consultant are a plus.
- Experience working in an advertising agency environment.
- Utility or Energy account familiarity.
- Knowledge in or use of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools, Azure, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Adobe Experience Platform, Monday.com and Smartsheets.
The semi-monthly salary range for this position is $4,166.67 - $4,583.33, with an annualized equivalent of $100,000 - $110,000.
