Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Creative Producer to join our creative team, overseeing the production of diverse photo and video shoots, including editorial launch campaigns, social-first paid media content, and e-commerce assets. You’ll report to the Creative Production Manager and direct a team of contract employees and hired crew.
In this role, you will translate the needs of marketing stakeholders into actionable plans, serving as the lead project manager to ensure deadlines are met, changes are communicated, and quality of all deliverables align with our brand standards. You will work closely with Creative Directors and Art Directors as a key partner and creative problem solver, sourcing locations, talent, and crew while ensuring solutions align with project scope and production budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the production process from concept to final delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns for Meta, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok, OTT, Broadcast, website, email, and other marketing channels.
- Be the embodiment of “think slow, act fast”—creating detailed production plans (with contingencies) to ensure flawless execution and efficient, well-run shoots.
- Lead on set with confidence and calm, bringing your passion for both people and production to life in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Growth, Brand, Product, E-commerce, etc.), manage competing priorities, allocate resources strategically, proactively remove roadblocks, and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout every stage of the process.
- Uphold brand consistency and ensure all creative assets meet quality, messaging, and visual standards.
- Manage contractors, hired crew, and external vendors to execute creative projects efficiently.
- Leverage your network of world-class collaborators across creative, production, and post-production to bring concepts to life.
- Continuously optimize workflows and establish best practices to streamline production and eliminate inefficiencies.
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in creative production, video production, marketing, or advertising. Experience in digital marketing and performance-driven content creation is a plus.
- A proven track record of executing high-quality media while working and negotiating with creative stakeholders on the brand or agency side.
- Deep understanding of video and photo production with a strong sense of creative storytelling; able to translate creative vision—such as shoot treatments, art direction, and storyboards—into comprehensive production plans, including shoot schedules, casting briefs, crew lists, and all other essential production elements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate creative ideas clearly.
- Comfortable with the uncomfortable; be adaptable, embrace change, be able to steer the ship in a new direction without missing a beat.
- A resume along with a visual portfolio or reels/clips showcasing samples of your work as a Creative Producer/Producer.
Preferred:
- Budgeting & scheduling experience in a variety of budget ranges and shoot scopes.
- Background in a DTC or consumer goods brand environment.
- Experience working with interior styling content, interior stylists, and photographers.
- Hands-on creative experience (e.g., directing, photography, DP, styling) is a plus—producers who’ve “been in the ring” often bring unique insights to execution.
- Location experience: sourcing, negotiating, and management.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana.
Compensation:
- $55/hr
