Marketing Operations Lead

Remote, USA

Runpod is pioneering the future of AI and machine learning, offering cutting-edge cloud infrastructure for full-stack AI applications. Founded in 2022, we are a rapidly growing, well-funded company with a remote-first organization spread globally. Our mission is to empower innovators and enterprises to unlock AI's true potential, driving technology and transforming industries. Join us as we shape the future of AI.

You will be the foundational hire for the Marketing Operations function within Runpod’s lean, high-impact Marketing team. Our team operates at the intersection of developer community building, high-leverage content creation, and data-driven growth strategies. We prioritize speed, experimentation, and measurable outcomes. We are builders who believe that the best marketing for a technical product is often technical itself. While you will sit within the Marketing team, your function is inherently cross-functional, requiring tight alignment with our RevOps, Sales, and Product teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey from prospect to power user.

Runpod is seeking its first dedicated Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer to serve as our Marketing Operations Lead. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role critical to scaling our Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG) motions. You are the technical backbone of our marketing strategy, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems that capture, nurture, and route leads with efficiency and precision.

The scope of this role is broad: you will own our marketing tech stack, starting with HubSpot, and integrate it with our website (Webflow), product data, and RevOps systems. Your success will be measured by the operational efficiency you bring to the GTM teams, the quality and flow of data, and your ability to rapidly stand up and measure complex, automated campaigns

Your Impact

This role offers a unique opportunity to define and build a GTM operations function from the ground up within one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure companies globally. You won't just be maintaining existing systems; you will be the primary architect of the operational engine that turns website visitors into enterprise customers. You will innovate on how we use data to personalize experiences at scale, directly influencing pipeline velocity and revenue attribution. Your work will empower the marketing and sales teams to operate faster, smarter, and with greater precision, making you an indispensable part of Runpod’s journey toward powering the AI revolution.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Stack Ownership & Architecture

  • System Integration: Design and implement robust, scalable integrations between core marketing systems (HubSpot, Webflow CMS, product analytics, data warehouses, etc.) using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
  • HubSpot Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub, managing data governance, custom objects, user roles, lead scoring models, and ensuring system health.
  • Infrastructure Reliability: Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all marketing operations infrastructure, acting as the primary troubleshooter for system errors and data flow issues.

Operationalizing GTM Motions (PLG & SLG)

  • Campaign Enablement: Stand up, configure, and QA all technical aspects of marketing campaigns, including landing pages, forms, email sequences, tracking parameters (UTM), and lead capture flows.
  • Lead Routing & Management: Develop sophisticated, real-time lead routing logic that seamlessly passes high-intent signals from the product usage data (PLG motion) and marketing activities to the appropriate sales representatives (SLG motion).
  • Workflow Automation: Build and optimize automated nurture workflows and triggers that move prospects efficiently through the marketing and sales funnel without manual intervention.

Data Management, Analytics, & Alignment

  • Data Governance & Quality: Establish and enforce data hygiene standards and data governance policies to ensure the integrity, completeness, and reliability of all GTM data.
  • RevOps Alignment: Collaborate closely with the broader Revenue Operations function to ensure seamless handoffs, shared data definitions, and consistent reporting across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Performance Measurement: Build the tracking infrastructure required for accurate attribution reporting and GTM dashboards, empowering the marketing and leadership teams with actionable performance insights.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or a GTM Engineering role.
  • Deep expertise as a hands-on administrator of HubSpot (Marketing and/or Sales Hub required); certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Workato).
  • Strong understanding of GTM fundamentals, including lead scoring methodologies, lead-to-account matching, attribution models, and the modern B2B/PLG marketing and sales funnel.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL or advanced spreadsheet functions.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms like Webflow, specifically connecting forms and tracking code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a highly proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred:

  • Experience with a high-growth startup in the B2B SaaS or developer tools space.
  • Comfort with light scripting/coding (Python, JavaScript) to handle complex integrations where off-the-shelf tools fall short.
  • Experience operationalizing both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG) motions.
  • Prior experience aligning systems within a RevOps structure.
  • A passion for AI, high-performance computing, and the developer ecosystem.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
