Summary of the Job:
As an Accounting Operations Analyst at RSI, you’ll dive deep into the exciting world of online casino and sports betting. You’ll become an expert in our industry while playing a pivotal role in managing key accounting processes, analyzing monthly performance, and driving continuous improvement in our operations. Working closely with the Accounting Operations Supervisor and Manager, you’ll help streamline processes with a strong focus on automation and delivering strategic value. Your contributions will be key in ensuring the accuracy of month-end activities, processing invoices, and collaborating across departments to support the company’s growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Master Our Operations: Gain an in-depth understanding of our online casino offerings, including virtual slot machines, table games, and live dealer experiences.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor invoices with prior accruals, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Financial Accounting Execution: Manage the accounting for casino content commission costs, operating expenses, and related accruals, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Contract Evaluation: Review new casino content vendor contracts to assess and determine the accounting impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency that add value across the organization.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Use tools like Alteryx and Looker to analyze operational insights, automate month-end close activities, and drive actionable recommendations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams like RSI Operations, FP&A, Business Development, and Business Intelligence to investigate fluctuations and trends, providing insights into financial performance drivers.
- Ensure Accuracy & Compliance: Contribute to the design and execution of internal controls, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of iGaming costs and financial reporting.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and complex calculations.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in every task.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a knack for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for data automation and/or visualization tools like Alteryx, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Experience with NetSuite or other accounting software is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum Years of Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in accounting or finance. Casino industry experience is a plus!
Location Eligibility: Open to candidates across the US (except California, Washington, Maryland, and New York).

Pay Range
$80,000 - $90,000 USD
