
Financial Risk Analyst

Job Summary
Our Risk Management and Controls group provides the opportunity to work for a top investment/ construction/ real estate management firm. This is a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of all aspects of our company and the various industries within which RXR operates. The position provides the candidate exposure to all aspects of RXR’s operations including investment management, construction project management, financial reporting and operations, risk assessment and mitigation activities, commercial and residential property management, capital markets activities, regulatory compliance, and a variety of projects including investment activities. The candidate will develop collaborative relationships throughout our company as well as the broader investments, real estate and insurance industries.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Accounting and Risk Officer in developing and maintaining the Company’s Risk Management architecture and strategies including:
- Performing risk assessments
- Developing scenario planning
- Identification and management of insurable risk reporting
- Manage and create enterprise-wide risk reporting metrics including developing key performance indicators related to each of the Company’s significant business lines including managing execution of firmwide risk assessment processes
- Create risk-based reporting and presentations; assist with the preparation of presentation materials; collaborate across company disciplines to gather information, and update existing materials and policy documentation
- Manage projects related to the enterprise risk and all enterprise insurance programs (property, liability, environmental, professional, cyber, workers compensation, builders risk, claims and program renewal management…)
- Support various risk and compliance and corporate finance/ economic modeling operations and initiatives associated with investment manager and real estate/ construction managers/operators
- Manage company internal control programs (including review of provided SOC 1 assessments)

Experience and Education
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related field
- Up to 4-5 years of experience in finance and /or risk management related activities
- Proficient in various Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary/rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g. location, years of service, specialty, education, relevant experience).
Bonus eligible.
Pay Range
$95,000 - $110,000 USD
