Your Mission 

The Field  Marketing Manager - Public Sector (based remote) is responsible for planning, organizing and executing industry marketing campaigns, events and activities to generate new business opportunities and accelerate existing opportunities for the public sector vertical. Working closely with SADA’s industry team and the Head of Marketing, North America, as well as field sales representatives, partner stakeholders, and the broader Marketing team, this position will develop, lead and execute public sector campaigns, programs and events, and lead the follow up and analysis to ensure high marketing impact to increase influenced and net new business.

This position will serve as the primary liaison between SADA’s sales teams in the public sector practice. This role is responsible for creating demand for SADA’s solutions and services using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, targeted field events to drive engagement and leads into the funnel, acceleration and close deals in pipeline, regional trade shows and conference sponsorships, and content marketing campaigns and messaging as needed for sales engagements. This position will work closely with the marketing ops/digital team to maximize our digital and direct marketing coverage of public sector targets and to leverage marketing tools to assist in the execution of and reporting on your campaigns. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver programs within outlined budget and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs to determine ROI aligned to public sector marketing goals  
  • Develop and deliver impactful communications to internal and external stakeholders including email campaign content, sales collateral pieces such as datasheets, presentations, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with the Google Cloud and Insight partner marketing teams to scale programs and drive net new opportunities
  • Develop actionable pipeline insights by analyzing intent data and territory insights provided by Sales leadership across SADA and Google Cloud.
  • Build and execute ABM 1:1 and 1:few account plans aligned to public sector sales team goals
  • Develop Public Sector specific solution offerings in partnership with Google Cloud to drive new business. 
  • Develop and execute impactful customer and partner-facing events 
  • Attend events/roadshows to ensure flawless execution; including sales and management prep, content and demo preparation
  • Manage post-event activities including processing the list of attendees, writing lead follow up material for sales and reporting on results of outreach
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams. Surface key programs and insights to Sales teams, and collaborate with centralized Marketing teams by sharing feedback to inform upcoming initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership and regional sales pods by ensuring adequate pipeline coverage, providing regular data-driven marketing updates, and surfacing subregional needs to broader marketing organizations
  • Provide quarterly business reviews to upper management and sales leadership
  • Build and manage marketing plans on the half year cycle, including managing the budget and reporting out results to Google Cloud.

Expectations

Required Travel - 10-15% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events. 

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date. 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Successful track record working with US Public Sector sales team, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Knowledge of state & local, Civilian, DoD, and Intelligence Community agencies and ability to translate this into a cohesive marketing plan for the Public Sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience, especially in field marketing, with specific focus in technology
  • Experience in the technology industry and familiarity with the SaaS / Cloud sector a plus
  • Experience with event planning and management, as well as speaker and budget management
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Hubspot automation tool a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, all in a very fast-paced environment 
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator across all levels within and outside of an organization, from the leadership team to customers
  • Inquisitive and collaborative with a positive attitude and go-getter mentality
  • Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; should feel comfortable with basic data analysis and be able to use data to make decisions and provide reporting to management
  • Results-oriented with a solid understanding of how to prioritize and execute against a strategy 
  • Always looking for room to improve workflows, processes, execution, relationships, etc. and able to push the boundaries of what more can be done
