Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

• Prepare manual journals including, but not limited to cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and intangible asset accounts. 
• Complete assigned related account reconciliations and support accurate and timely month and year end close.
• Assist in managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Assist in GAAP accounting research and apply GAAP policies as appropriate. 
• Assist in managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to maintain and update shared processes, tools, and reporting activities
• Maintain focus on continuous operational improvement opportunities, and where required, participate in the design and implementation of financial systems and other tools to drive continuous improvement in relevant processes.
• Assist in designing, implementing, administering and reporting of relevant internal control procedures. 
• Provide audit support as needed.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the CAO / Assistant Controller. 

Must have strong Excel skills.

• Must have a Bachelors in Accounting or related degree and experience. 
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus. 
• CPA a plus.
