About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to take ownership of our global sales compensation programs, ensuring they are strategically designed, effectively executed, and drive the right business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management, and end-to-end program leadership to ensure our sales compensation plans are competitive, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking, project management, and cross-functional influence, ensuring that sales compensation supports business growth while being well understood and smoothly implemented.

 

How You'll Make an Impact:

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end management of sales compensation programs, ensuring timely design, rollout, and administration.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR teams to align compensation structures with business strategy and financial objectives.
  • Ensure sales teams understand and trust their compensation plans by leading effective communication and education efforts.

Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Engage and influence senior leaders, aligning compensation strategies with broader company goals.
  • Tailor communication and approach for different stakeholder groups, ensuring buy-in and effective collaboration.
  • Anticipate objections and navigate challenges proactively to drive alignment and execution.

Strategic Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify pain points and inefficiencies in sales compensation administration, proposing and driving improvements.
  • Ensure that sales compensation solutions are both analytically sound and operationally practical.
  • Think critically about long-term scalability, identifying areas where automation or process enhancements can drive efficiency.

Project Management & Execution Discipline

  • Drive timelines and ensure all moving parts of the program stay on track.
  • Own the preparation and facilitation of cross-functional meetings, ensuring discussions are productive and decisions move forward.
  • Proactively track deliverables, following up with stakeholders to ensure execution remains on schedule.

Data Analysis & Modeling

  • Conduct in-depth analyses on compensation effectiveness, sales performance trends, and plan competitiveness.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to recommend strategic plan adjustments.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Ops to ensure accurate compensation modeling and forecasting.

 

 

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, total rewards, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects end-to-end while keeping all stakeholders aligned.
  • Highly strategic and analytical thinker who can balance data-driven insights with practical implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving structure in complex situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, execution discipline, and problem-solving instincts.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Salsify employees receive equity in the form of stock options. All full-time employees are invited to participate in our Total Rewards plan, which includes health & medical benefits, PTO, and more. Offers to join Salsify are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate’s work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.

National Pay Range

€38.250 - €45.000 EUR
