Job Summary/Overview:

We’re searching for a highly qualified Project Engineering Supervisor to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The Project Engineering Supervisor will prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
• Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for retrofit and new construction projects
• Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
• The candidate is expected to have sufficient knowledge of the project management process to lead continuous development of the documented procedures required to manage project work successfully in an industrial environment during operation.
• Project work must be completed with an emphasis on quality, incident reduction, and maintainability. SAS is a 24x7x365 factory that cannot suffer utility interruptions to the process equipment.
Specific Job Duties:
Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Ensure the success of projects for a broad program portfolio from cradle to grave, including requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
• 4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering at an ABET accredited institution (including Engineering Technology or Mechatronics)
• Minimum 4 years’ Electrical design and project experience focused in an industrial setting. Semiconductor fab experience preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in state of Texas (or ability to transfer from another state)
• Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill set
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis including Pivot Tables, data source linking through VLOOKUP, and simple script creation
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skillset
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
• The position requires a familiarity with construction project management Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
• Experience in developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability
• Experience with electrical modeling programs such as ETAP, SKM, and others
• Strong creative problem solving skills with a desire to contribute to leading-edge planning and optimization to achieve aggressive goals and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required to effectively communicate technical content to various organizations.
