2026 Intern, Product Development Engineer (Summer)
Lab Summary:

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Ph.D. candidate or recent Ph.D. graduate with a strong background in biological signal processing, machine learning, and data analytics. By leveraging data collected by Samsung consumer wearable devices, the candidate will be able to assess and develop product ready solutions to tackle detection and monitoring of life-altering diseases.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with innovative R&D team to assess and develop impactful health products.
- Organize large clinical databases for solutions development and validation efforts.
Required Skills:
- PhD. candidate or recent graduate in a relevant Science or Engineering field, such as Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.
- Strong background in biological signal processing, machine learning/deep learning, and data analytics/visualization. Prior experience with wearable technology is a plus!
- Ability to use a data analysis tool or programming language such as MATLAB, R, or Python.
- Working understanding of statistics.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
Hourly Pay Rate Range
$48 - $63 USD
