Sr Scrum Master
What's the Short Version?
The Sr Scrum Master plays a key role in driving Agile and Scrum practices within the organization. This position works closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior Scrum Master mentors and coaches other Scrum Masters, promote best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile processes.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Provide leadership and guidance to multiple Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with Agile principles and practices.
- Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, helping them enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing culture within the team to include trust, respect and accountability.
- Implement and facilitate Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices for large-scale Agile initiatives.
- Coordinate and synchronize the activities of multiple Scrum teams to ensure overall program success.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and senior management to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of Agile and Scrum strategies at an organizational level.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and the organization.
- Actively seek and implement innovative solutions to enhance Agile and Scrum processes.
- Facilitate resolution of conflicts within and between teams, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Address organizational impediments and barriers to Agile adoption.
- Develop and deliver training programs on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Promote a learning culture within the organization, encouraging professional development among team members.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Agile and Scrum.
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders on project progress, team performance, and Agile metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments
- Experience with other Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP, etc.)
- Familiarity with project management tools (ADO, Jira, etc.)
- Previous experience in a senior role within an Agile organization is preferred
- SAFe Scrum Master Certification or equivalent
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and other scaling frameworks
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to influence change at various levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and facilitate change
- Commitment to customer service
- Solid analytical and reasoning skills and proven ability to develop solutions to complex problems
- Empathy and emotional intelligence
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
