Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of user-centered design, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive complex design projects from conception to completion. As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our software products, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of UX/UI principles throughout the development process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design processes, from initial concept and user research to final delivery of high-fidelity prototypes and user interfaces.
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design decisions, aligning with business objectives and user needs.
- Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user journey.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly designs.
- Advocate for and implement design systems and maintain consistency with brand and product guidelines across all platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on software products and complex systems.
- Experience with fintechs, fast growing companies and or high valued startups.
- Proven experience in leading and executing large-scale design projects within an Agile development environment and updating C-Level managers periodically.
- Mastery in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others. Familiarity with tools like InVision or Axure is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-impact design solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of user experience, usability principles, and interaction design.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across multiple products.
- Strong understanding of front-end development frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to facilitate seamless design-developer collaboration.
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, as well as conducting and interpreting user research (surveys, usability testing, A/B testing, etc.).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) to assess design performance and iterate based on data insights.
- Passion for improving the accessibility and usability of digital products, with knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Desirable:
- Experience working with enterprise-level software solutions or SaaS platforms.
- Basic coding skills to prototype and test designs directly in code when necessary.
- Understanding of motion design and how animations can enhance user experience.
- Experience designing for mobile-first, responsive, and adaptive interfaces.
Required Location: Argentina or Perú
Advanced English:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
