Job Summary:
This role requires prior experience in manual testing, the ability to analyze requirements, propose improvements to testing processes, and proactively collaborate with development teams. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Design and Execution:
  Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover issues not detected through predefined test cases.
  Ensure comprehensive coverage in regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

• Defect Identification and Reporting:
  Analyze test results and report detailed defects, including reproduction steps, impact, and supporting evidence.
  Prioritize and track bugs using defect management tools like Jira or similar.

• Collaboration and Analysis:
  Work with developers, Business Analysts, and other team members to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  Propose improvements to testing processes and collaborate on delivery planning.

• Documentation:
  Create and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, coverage matrices, and result reports.
  Contribute to the continuous improvement and updating of test repositories.

• Mentorship and Support:
  Assist QA Juniors in understanding processes, executing tests, and using tools effectively.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and usability testing.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Understanding of basic principles of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Analytical skills to identify critical points and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong ability to document test cases, results, and defects clearly.

Desired Qualifications:

• Basic/intermediate knowledge of SQL for data validation in databases.
• Familiarity with basic automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, Postman) to collaborate with QA Automation Engineers.
• Previous experience working in CI/CD environments and tools like Git.
• Intermediate/advanced English proficiency for written and oral communication with international teams.

Work Environment:

• Availability to participate in meetings with globally distributed teams.
• Occasional availability for extended hours based on project needs.
