Expense Manager

We are seeking an Expense Manager for our Rye Brook, NY office location in Westchester County. This in-office role is responsible for processing, auditing, and verifying accurate financial documentation for the reimbursement of Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses. Our ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills with an acute attention to detail and proactively collaborate across departments to ensure the timely reimbursement of approved travel and expenses. This role will also be cross-trained on payroll processing to support our Payroll Specialist as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Verify expense information, audit required receipts and approve travel and expenses submitted for reimbursement through the Concur platform
- Hold employees accountable to company’s travel and expense policy and educate as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records for all submitted expenses
- Monitor and track travel-related spending to ensure adherence to budgets
- Generate reporting on travel and expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Cross-trained to successfully execute the payroll process to serve as a backup as needed by verifying timesheets to ensure accurate payroll information
Qualifications and Experience:
- Candidate must have a required minimum of two years’ experience as an administrator managing expenses via Concur platform
- Ability to manage work independently and collaborate across the team as needed to drive results
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- ADP experience is preferred and not required
- High school diploma required; college education preferred
