Cybersecurity Cloud Architect
We’re looking to hire a Cybersecurity Cloud Architect to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods!
As part of our Information Security team, you’ll have a direct and growing impact on safeguarding information assets and systems that are helping to fight diseases with code. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about implementing and refining effective and efficient controls to protect our users and data. As a member of a company with a significant cloud footprint, you’ll help shape and drive technology and organizational transformations, and play a crucial role in protecting our data and infrastructure.
- A security professional who is passionate about public cloud and developer security workflows
- A self-motivated engineer and architect who can articulate a vision for sustainable security practices
- A critical thinker who can balance security risks with business effectiveness
- A technical thought leader in security who keeps their finger on the pulse of the latest developments, practices, and threats
- An excellent verbal and written communicator who can convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and overall best practices
- Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in cloud security; recommend plans of action to respond and adapt to changing landscape
- Function as part of a small, cross-functional team that specializes in cybersecurity
- Develop documentation and training for cloud and developer security
- CCSP, GIAC, CISSP, other security credentials or related experience
- Experience with cloud environments, in particular Google Compute Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Service (AWS), and Microsoft Azure
- Deep familiarity with cloud security platforms, such as Wiz, Orca Security, Divvycloud, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, etc.
- Experience with developing security practices and tools, such as SAST, DAST, CI/CD, SCA, etc.
- Additional understanding of other cybersecurity practices, such as encryption, identity and access management (IAM), network security, vulnerability management, and incident response
- Programming experience using Python, Terraform, OPA, ruby, etc.
