What we’re looking for…

Does transforming a data lake into an elegant dashboard that delivers business insights sound like your kind of challenge?  We are looking for a Front-End React with TypeScript developer, with in-depth experience, who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements. Someone who can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment.  You will play a critical role in the development of our industry leading AI operations solution. 

What you’ll be doing…

As a Software Engineer with ScienceLogic, you will play an integral role in building ways to support the elegant display of volumes of data into a UI experience that provides clarity, visibility and insights for managing on-prem and multi-cloud SaaS infrastructures for some of the largest companies and service providers in the world. 

  • Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and back-end teams to build delightful, intuitive user interfaces for React/Typescript application
  • Hands on break down of React components for pages and develop reusable components
  • Review and maintain product backlog and take a lead role in implementing features adhering to sound engineering principles while also taking an active role in owning, understanding, and prioritizing technical debt 
  • Remain current on Web development technologies, assess new standards, technologies, and trends, and formulate and recommend strategies and tactics for future platform enhancements.
  • Work in a collaborative, agile and a fun environment and drive the teams towards a Continuous Delivery mechanism in an open-source environment using React, TypeScript, Javascript, Graph QL, and MySQL
  • Participate in Scrum reviews, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming 

Qualities you possess…

You’re a self-starter, a problem solver, a continuous learner, an exemplary coder, have excellent time-management skills and are open and collaborative.  Plus you’ve got the following: 

  • BS in CS or equivalent technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience building web applications using JavaScript, CSS
  • 3+ years production experience working with React/Angular, Typescript, Style Components
  • You are passionate about delivering high quality, production ready code and collaboratively work with team members. 

As a plus, you have...

  • Experience with SQL or MariaDB 
  • 3+ years of experience with public-facing interfaces such as REST APIs . Experience with GraphQL and/or Apollo 
  • A working knowledge of current build tools (GitHub), and advanced bash scripting
