About the Role
As the Marketing Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Account Managers by completing reactive and proactive tasks. Your main objective as a Marketing Assistant is to meet client and team needs with exceptional turnaround time and attention to detail to ensure we’re always providing clients with the best experience possible.
What your success will look like
- Professionally communicate with clients via email/phone
- Support the Account Manager in the coordination and execution of requests in a timely manner
- Handle intermediate tasks and resolve issues related to the client’s website, social media, content, and marketing campaigns, with Account Manager assistance as needed, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction
- Refer moderate to complex issues to the appropriate escalation team(s)
- Coordinate requests for data, information, or anything else for the MM with internal stakeholders/teams, including Ranking, Advertising, Social, Content, Website Health, LSS, Global Support, Platform, Design, Tech, Delivery, Billing, and more.
- Send review requests on behalf of the client
- Upload retained client lists and report findings to the Account Manager and/or client
- Coordinate meetings for internal and external team members/clients
- Maintain intermediate knowledge of vertical(s) and general marketing best practice
- Monitor all client communications, promptly identifying any missed or pending items, and follow up with the Account Manager to ensure everything is addressed and nothing is overlooked
Who you are and what you bring
- 1+ years of professional work experience
- We highly encourage internal candidates with experience in the CMS, CSX, Fresh Desk, Platform, Scorpion App, SEMRush, ChatGPT, and Canva to apply, as familiarity with these tools is preferred.
- Ability to engage in professional correspondence with internal and external partners
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Expert ability to multi-task and stay composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with a sophisticated clientele

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary range is $60,000 (entry-level) - $65,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
