About the Role

As a Client Account Expansion Strategist, you will partner with Account Managers to help clients unlock their growth potential through strategic investments in digital marketing. This role is pivotal to our client-first approach, shaping the future of Scorpion’s Legal business by identifying opportunities, building tailored strategies, and driving impactful results. Your insights and collaboration will help clients align their marketing investments with ambitious revenue goals. What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Client Growth Strategy:  Lead high-level strategic conversations with clients to align their digital marketing investments with broader business goals, ensuring a clear understanding of the value of increased investment and its impact on revenue growth.
  • Upsell and Expansion:  Partner with Account Managers to identify and pursue high-value upsell opportunities, tailoring solutions to meet client needs using data-driven insights.
  • Collaboration and Enablement:  Collaborate with internal teams, including product, data, and marketing, to provide comprehensive solutions. Share feedback and best practices to improve processes and enhance client experiences.
  • Mentorship and Training:  Support Account Managers by coaching them on upselling techniques and client engagement strategies, fostering a team-wide culture of growth consulting and relationship building.
  • Process Development:  Contribute to the creation and refinement of frameworks and standard operating procedures to streamline efforts and demonstrate the business impact of the role.
  • Data Storytelling:  Use Scorpion’s proprietary analytics platforms to generate insights, create customized reports, and present actionable strategies that simplify complex data for clients.
  • Product Expertise:  Build deep knowledge of Scorpion’s digital marketing products and services, enabling you to deliver tailored recommendations across Legal verticals such as criminal, family, personal injury, immigration, employment, bankruptcy, estate and probate.  

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a focus on sales, account management, or related fields.
  • Proven Track Record:  A history of surpassing performance goals and delivering tailored, strategic solutions that drive client success. 8+ years of experience in expansion sales, with expertise in digital marketing and the legal sector.
  • Collaborative Mindset:  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a positive, inclusive culture focused on shared goals and collective success.
  • Strategic Thinking:  Strong ability to align client goals with innovative strategies, addressing both short-term challenges and long-term opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency:  Experience with CRM tools, data analytics platforms, and presentation software. Comfortable interpreting data, creating actionable insights, and delivering compelling recommendations.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trust-based client relationships.
  • Growth-Oriented Attitude: Eagerness to embrace challenges, actively seek feedback, and commit to continuous personal and professional development.

Compensation  

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary is $117,000 (entry-level) - 138,000 (highly experienced).  This position's base salary + annual variable is $175,500 (entry-level) - $207,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.  Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
