Are you an analytical problem-solver passionate about driving impactful change through financial insights? Scorpion is seeking a dynamic Senior Corporate Finance Associate to join our team. Partnering with senior leaders, including the CFO, you'll help shape our financial strategy and contribute to decisions that drive growth and success.
What Your Success Will Look Like
- Report to the VP of Finance and collaborate closely with the CFO to design and implement financial strategies that drive growth and innovation.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast performance, evaluate opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
- Create clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track trends, and promote accountability across teams.
- Conduct deep dives into financial and operational data to uncover actionable insights, identify risks, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally to lead projects that improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Measure and communicate the outcomes of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Gain significant exposure to executive leadership and opportunities to influence Scorpion’s company-wide strategies.
Who You Are And What You Bring
- Relevant Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field, with a proven ability to contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Excel, including building dynamic financial models that drive business insights and inform strategic plans.
- Presentation Excellence: Skilled in creating compelling, executive-level presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and execute strategies with measurable impact.

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary range is $114,000 (entry-level) - $130,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
