About the Role

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building long-term relationships with Scorpion's clients while helping them achieve all goals through strategic and effective online marketing campaigns.
 
Your top priority and a key area in which you will be evaluated is value retention and overall client retention. Every client's goal is to become a Scorpion client for life. As Senior Account Manager, you are primarily responsible for the success of clients’ digital marketing presence and their overall happiness with the Scorpion client experience.
 
You are expected to own your book of business within your team and to be competent and knowledgeable on Scorpion’s product offerings, systems, platforms, and the digital marketing industry as a whole to become an effective extension of your client’s businesses, whether that be handling task-related work that arises from client requests, ensuring client websites are updated, coaching and mentoring other team members, or being in charge of voicing and celebrating wins loud and proud with your team.

What your success will look like

  • Work directly with team lead on managing clients to proactively uncover areas of opportunity
  • Acknowledge client requests & questions and continuously execute and refine the client's customized marketing campaign to ensure success
  • Assist with answering client questions on inbounds should it require (not heavily focused on inbound)
  • Assist team lead with client upsets should it require
  • Client load is shared in a pool with the rest of team
  • Provide swift and effective execution of solutions for client requests and Scorpion strategies, and support Lead in identifying and developing opportunities
  • Providing a comprehensive monthly report covering the performance of the campaign, future plans, etc.
  • Supply client updates regarding areas of opportunity to grow existing agency relationships and revenue
  • Update client on new industry trends/news, as well as internal Scorpion changes
  • Handle complex issues and problems within the client’s campaign management and refers only the most complex issues to leadership
  • Be a resource for questions, troubleshooting, training and coaching for other team members, primarily Account Managers

Who you are and what you bring

  • 4+ years of work experience managing accounts or clients, preferably in a Digital Marketing field
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Presentation building and execution
  • SEO & SEM knowledge & strategy experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills, able to address multiple projects/requests and meet tight deadlines with ownership and accountability
  • Customer-oriented, positive focus with a high standard of service and professionalism
  • Proven presentation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups

Compensation  

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary range is $95,000 (entry-level) - $103,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
