Accounts Payable & Payroll Assistant (Temp-to-Hire Contractor)
About the Role
The Accounts Payable & Payroll Assistant (Temp-to-Hire Contractor) functions within the Accounting team, providing support to the Payroll Manager, Accounts Payable Specialist, and other members of the team. This role begins as a temporary contract position with the potential for full-time hire based on performance and business needs.
Expected Hours: 720 hours over 24 weeks (approximately 30 hours per week)Application Deadline: Friday, November 21, 2025Hourly Range: $26.44 – $31.25
What Your Success Will Look Like
Maintain and verify timesheet records for all employees and make necessary weekly corrections
Support the Payroll Manager in the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll, including collecting pay data, communicating with other team leaders, entering data into ADP
Independently process payroll (at least quarterly) with supervision of the Payroll Manager
Run ad hoc earnings and related reports for management
Assist with state payroll tax correspondence, make calls to agencies as needed
Handle physical paychecks
Handle physical mail, i.e. payroll, tax, checks, & AP related
Support Accounts Payable team with weekly tasks 
Work with vendors, collect key data, handle invoice coding
Interdepartmental communication surrounding expenses, reimbursements and related items
Prepping reconciliations and workbooks as needed for month-end close
Support the accounting team by assisting with basic accounting tasks, including entry-level journal entries, reconciliations, and other general ledger activities as needed
Work with the Controller on calculating monthly rebate data for our partnered agencies and customers
Annual audit support
Assist with special projects including but not limited to system implementation testing, accounting projects, acquisitions, and working with other departments on new processes 
Who You Are And What You Bring
2+ years of relevant payroll, accounts payable and accounting experience
Highly detail oriented, analytical, and a desire to work with numbers day in and day out
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Google Sheets & Docs
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus

Executive Account Manager
About the Role
The Executive Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with Private Equity groups and their portfolio companies in the home services industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The Executive Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, providing tailored digital marketing solutions to meet their needs. This role contributes significantly to the team’s, department’s, and company’s overall success by building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional results.
What Your Success Will Look Like
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Private Equity groups, CEOs, Board of Directors, and their portfolio companies.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client business objectives and drive growth.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Provide expert guidance on digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and other online marketing channels.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, preparing regular reports and presentations for clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Presentation and Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
Travel: Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Who You Are And What You Bring
Experience: 
Minimum of 5+ years of account management experience in the digital marketing or martech industry.
3+ years working directly with Private Equity clients. 
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with experience in dealing with Private Equity groups preferred.
Digital Marketing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with Private Equity C-suite executives and board members, demonstrating the ability to build strong relationships and effectively convey strategic insights and recommendations.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Travel: This role involves travel for partnership QBRs, team gatherings, and industry events. The frequency of travel may vary depending on business priorities and timing.

Compensation  
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
The base salary range is $90,000 (entry-level) - $130,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. 
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
