About the Role

Scorpion is seeking a growth-minded and collaborative Vertical Solutions Manager to join our Brand Marketing team. In this role, you’ll partner cross-functionally with corporate marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to shape and execute go-to-market strategies for our home services sub-verticals.

You’ll use your deep understanding of the industry to craft compelling, solutions-focused messaging and content—from integrated campaigns and thought leadership to sales enablement and customer advocacy programs. This role is key to driving adoption, revenue growth, and customer acquisition.

What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Develop Deep Vertical Expertise: Build and maintain a strong understanding of key trends, customer needs, and the competitive and regulatory landscape within home services sub-verticals.
  • Drive Market Research & Segmentation: Uncover audience needs, pain points, and buying behaviors. Segment customers to tailor messaging and campaign strategies.
  • Own Positioning & Messaging: Define clear and differentiated value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Lead Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate across teams to develop and execute integrated, sub-verticalized demand generation plans.
  • Create Thought Leadership & Content: Develop industry-relevant content—whitepapers, case studies, blogs, webinars, and infographics—that position Scorpion as a trusted voice.
  • Enable Sales: Equip sales teams with pitch decks, sales collateral, training, and vertical-specific insights to drive conversions.
  • Build Advocacy & Engagement: Support programs that strengthen customer satisfaction, drive advocacy, and increase referrals.
  • Measure & Optimize Performance: Track KPIs to assess campaign performance, derive insights, and continuously improve marketing efforts.
  • Support Events & Partnerships: Contribute to our event strategy and represent Scorpion at trade shows, webinars, and industry events. Build relationships with associations and key partners.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years in B2B or service marketing, ideally focused on SMB audiences. Experience within high-growth companies is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of the home services industry or a related vertical.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic Marketer: Proven ability to build go-to-market strategies, segment audiences, and develop compelling value propositions.
    • Content & Storytelling: Exceptional writing skills with a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
    • Data-Driven: Comfortable analyzing metrics, conducting ROI analysis, and drawing insights to inform strategy.
    • Customer-Focused: Experience building customer engagement or advocacy programs that foster retention and growth.
    • Collaborative Partner: Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams and works well with peers across marketing, sales, partnerships, and product.
    • Adaptable & Curious: Excited by change, able to pivot quickly, and always looking for new ways to improve.
    • Initiative-Taker: Able to drive projects forward independently while keeping stakeholders aligned.
